This is larger than most CNC laser cutting systems boasting a 5x10ft sized bed and automated nesting which allows larger sheet sizes and cut profiles than most. This is especially useful for our architectural and retail applications. The system operates with a precise beam of .007″ thickness in diameter effectively with a cutting speed of 100m/min, which in turns produces complex detail that be used “as cut” therefore removing the need for further machining operations.
The Platino offers a 6″ Z axis travel which allows us to make precision cuts in formed metal boxes, tubes, angles and spinning’s up to 6in tall without the need for tooling. When the laser table is removed, we can cut the top face of a 48″ tall part.
